For some, travelling is all about living for the moment. For others, it’s a great opportunity to take photos and post them on Instagram. Experiencing new cultures, eating exotic food and visiting wonderful attractions are incredible experiences that many want to document and share with their friends.

If you’re looking for the most Instagram-worthy places in Singapore, you don’t need to look farther than Sentosa. There’s a cable car where you can take breathtaking photos from above, as well as Universal Studios with its great backdrops.

Last year, Sentosa welcomed 19.1 million visitors to the island. Find out how this prime destination will liven up your Instagram feed.

Amazing aerial views from Singapore Cable Car

Climb aboard the only cable car in the country and enjoy the scenic views. The 100 cabins that span 5 kilometres offer a visual treat of the entire island’s landscape, flying you through forests and skyscrapers. You’ll soar over the harbour and across jungle, sand and sea. The cable car offers a bird’s-eye view of Singapore’s stunning and iconic sights, from beautiful beaches to the world-renowned theme parks.  Hop on to take the best aerial and panoramic photos.

Capture the thrills at Universal Studios

The amusement park not only boasts of thrilling rides but also movie-themed zones that are great photo ops. There’s the Hollywood Zone where you’ll find the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As you venture into New York, there are stunning city skylines and a mock-up of a subway entrance. In Sci-fi City, take a photo with the Battlestar Galactica as the backdrop.

There are spectacular live performances and cinematic experiences to document. The themed restaurants all over the amusement park also have ‘celebrities’ who will pose with you whilst you’re having a bite. At the end of the day, your phone’s gallery will be filled with selfies, group shots and stunning landscape snaps.

Strike a pose with Singapore’s famous icon

The Merlion statue is a 37-metre replica of the famous half-fish, half-lion icon. At this location, you can collect prosperity coins, ring the prosperity bell and make a wish. There’s a lift that takes you up to the lion’s mouth so that you can look over the scenery. There’s also a video show that tells the rich history of the Merlion. Don’t forget to take photos, especially at night when a light display illuminates the iconic statue.

Sun, Sand and Snapshots at the Beach

Sentosa is home to many beaches where you can soak up the sun and take great snapshots by the shore. Located in the southern tip of Sentosa, Palawan Beach has pristine white sand and palm trees — perfect for photos exuding relaxation and tranquillity. Secluded on the south coast of Sentosa is Tanjong Beach, the best for relaxing in the daytime. However, Tanjong is also well-known for its evening parties, so whether you want shots of you having fun at the club or lounging with a glass of piña colada – this is the best beach for you. Another popular beach is Siloso, a clean sandy cove just 30 minutes away from the city centre. This one’s famous for its picnic spots and the scenic coastline.

If you’re all about the ‘gram, Sentosa has the top spots to brighten up your feed. It’s bursting with photo opportunities, from its iconic landmarks to world-class attractions. The next time you’re in Sentosa, don’t forget to take some breathtaking photos, no filter needed.
